Unable to Register DSC on Income Tax Website

Question: 

How to register dsc in new income tax portal ? Register dsc option not found or is not coming in new income tax portal. 

Your Digital Signature Certificate is not registered in e-filing. Please upload the registered DSC. error while filing online TDS return.

How to register DSC in new Income tax website for company?

When user unable to register my Digital Signature Certificate or DSC, or While trying to e-file Income Tax Return using Digital Signature Certificate or DSC on Income Tax Website, the "Select Your .pfx file" or " Select with your USB Token" button are not selected or displayed or are not clickable or not working. Income tax new website emsigner/emBridge not working.

If DSC not showing on income tax portal, update token driver and embridge/emsigner

Note 1) User are advised to use google chrome

Note 2) There should be only one JAVA in computer system. The website WWW.LRLSERVICES.COM has such version of JAVA which is acceptable by almost all the website.  you can download the java from download section of our website.

Note 3) Register DSC option will not come in the following

Now, Only Individual DSC is to be registered in his/her personal income tax login.

Means, In case you are trying to register DSC in the new income tax portal for Company, Firm, LLP, HUF, Trust etc register the DSC option will not available.

In this case, user has to update DSC in individual personal income tax login and update the key person detail under my profile of Company, Firm. Trust ,HUF, LLP etc .Then registered DSC will appear automatically

For example, There is a company ABCD Private Limited and Mr. A is director of the company.

In this case, register DSC of Mr. A in his personal income tax login and then update key person detail of ABCD Private Limited. 

While updating key person detail, register DSC will appear.    

Step 1: Login to www.Incometax.gov.in of Individual and click  on  >> My Profile

Step 2: Click on "Register DSC"  

Step 3: Download and Install the Emsigner Utility from Income Tax Portal 

Step 4: Run downloaded emBridhe Utility and click on Refresh. Check "Service Status" is Running,

otherwise Update it  

Step 5: Go to "Data Sign" option. Select "Provider", "Certificate", Enter USB Token password and

click on Sign Button.

Note:  The website will not take default password of USB token, User has to change the password of USB token.

In case you are using Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) other than Individual Profile.

Please check that you have updated the profile of the Authorized Signatory whose Digital Signature 

Certificate (DSC) is used.
